«Millennium Flop» is the political satire comic by Giorgio Forattini, published by Mondadori in hardback (350 pages, in Italian).
The book collects the political cartoons that Giorgio Forattini published during the last two years of the millennium. Forattini's caricatural stroke turns characters and symbols of power into grotesque figures: soldiers, flags, Mickey Mouse and other absurd creatures populate these prints about Italy at the end of the nineties.
The book was published in 1999 and is part of the collection «I libri di Giorgio Forattini», of which it is the tenth volume.
For readers interested in political satire and Italian graphic humour; the cartoons refer to current events of the late nineties.
