«Mi primer gran libro de los colores» is the children's book by James Diaz and Melanie Gerth, published by Combel Editorial in hardback (10 pages, in Spanish).
A large-format novelty book that presents colours through illustrations, textures, flaps, wheels and tabs. Its pages feature recognisable objects and animals —a blue train, a yellow sun, a green frog, purple grapes— so that little ones learn colours by playing: looking, touching, pulling, opening and turning.
It belongs to the collection «Mi primer gran libro...», from Combel Editorial. The original English edition was published in 2002 by Scholastic under the title «My First Jumbo Book of Colors».
Designed for early readers aged 2 to 4 and as a gift for children who are beginning to discover colours in a hands-on way.
