«Mi loca familia de vacaciones» is the children's novel by Chris Higgins, published by edebé in paperback (148 pages, in Spanish).
It's summer and Mattie's family goes on holiday to Cornwall. Mattie, aged nine, narrates in the first person: she worries about losing the luggage, someone falling off a cliff and, worst of all, someone being forgotten at home. There are 22 short chapters, with black-and-white illustrations.
Second instalment of the «Mi loca familia» series, published in 2015. The drawings are by Lee Wildish and the translation by Teresa Blanch Gasol.
Recommended for young readers aged 8 and up, especially those who enjoy family stories told with humour.
