«¡Menudo lío!» is the children's story by Ana Maria Machado, with illustrations by Francesc Rovira, published by Santillana in hardback (32 pages, in Spanish).
The story follows Isabel and Enrique during a visit to their grandmother: they play with plasticine and coloured crayons, go out into the garden, plant seeds and water them. In the end, the day turns into chaos and the two children end up covered in mud. The illustrations recreate every moment of the adventure.
First edition published on 21 September 2005; the cover bears the Alfaguara Infantil imprint.
For boys and girls aged 4 and up, according to the cover; invites shared reading and conversation with an adult.
