«Mateo y los Reyes Magos» is the children's story by Fernando Alonso, published by Altea in hardback (324 pages, in Spanish).
Mateo lives in an oasis where the Three Wise Men stopped to wait for the star that would guide them. For seven days, each one told his story. Mateo listened to those tales, never forgot them, and repeated them to travellers passing through the place. The book recreates those stories and the excitement of the arrival of the Three Wise Men.
Published in 1997, with illustrations by Alberto Urdiales.
Recommended for children aged 4 to 10 and for reading with the family during Christmas.
