«Marta y la sirena» is Luisa Guerrero's children's story, published by Ellas in paperback (28 pages, in Spanish).
The book starts from a question: what would we think if a mermaid fell in love with Marta. The story plays with the boundary between fantasy and reality, and shows the girl in a marine setting full of fish and corals, with text and illustrations by the author herself.
Published in 2008; on the cover, the title also appears in English: «Marta and the Mermaid».
A story aimed at children and young people, recommended for those looking for fantasy stories with a female protagonist and a marine setting.
