«Manuel Larramendi» is the children's book by Xabier Mendiguren Elizegi, published by Elkar in hardback (36 pages, in Basque).
Teresa, daughter of a printer, travels to Loiola in 1745 to deliver a book printed by her father to Manuel Larramendi. Afterwards, both move to Azkoitia, where they meet Joanes Etxeberri, Xabier Munibe and their friends. The story brings readers closer to the figure of the 18th-century Basque writer and philologist.
Third volume of the children's collection «Gure pertsonaiak», dedicated to famous figures from Gipuzkoa. It features illustrations by Juan Carlos Nazabal and Imanol Zinkunegi Odriozola.
Aimed at children aged 6 to 9 who are beginning to read, as well as families and classrooms wanting to approach Basque culture.
