«Manga chats» is the humorous cat manga by Tamako Tamagoyama, published by Larousse in paperback (174 pages, in French).
The book humorously depicts life with Ton and Shino, two cats of opposite temperaments: one calm and food-loving, the other restless and noisy. The panels capture feline habits like getting into cardboard boxes, demanding ham, sleeping by day and causing a ruckus at night. The simple, expressive artwork is combined with photographs of the protagonists.
Manga originating from the number 1 cat blog on Ameblo, published in Japan in 2016. The 2018 French edition from Larousse includes an unpublished episode about meeting the cats at a shelter.
For cat and manga lovers seeking light, humorous reading about life with pets.
