«Malos humores» is David Suárez's short story collection, published in paperback by Hifer Editor (2013), in Spanish.
A collection of short stories mixing humour and disillusionment: characters from a neighbourhood in northern Spain are the protagonists of grotesque, everyday stories marked by frustration, romantic relationships, precarity, football and corruption. A work close to the dirty realism movement.
On the cover, the author is listed as David Suárez Suarón; the work belongs to the Turbulencias collection.
For readers of contemporary short fiction who appreciate black humour and urban characters, in the vein of Bukowski, Carver and Irvine Welsh.
