«Mala baba» is the wicked anthology of Spanish children's poetry by Miguel Salas Díaz, illustrated by Beatriz Iglesias and published by Hiperión in paperback (64 pages, in Spanish).
The book brings together poems from the Spanish popular tradition with a playful and mischievous approach: wicked characters, absurd situations and humour that connects with children. Beatriz Iglesias's illustrations accompany each text and reinforce that mocking tone. A short, highly visual selection for early readers who want to discover poetry from its most fun side.
It is number 58 of the Ajonjolí collection, dedicated to children's poetry by the publisher Hiperión. Edition in Spanish.
Recommended for children aged 6 to 7 and for readers who want to approach traditional Spanish poetry in an enjoyable way.
