«Los calcetines del ogro» is an illustrated children's story by M. Carmen Roca I Costa, published by Santillana Educación, S.L. in paperback (64 pages, in Spanish).
Matías is a calm and cheerful ogre who collects socks. One day he discovers that some are missing and doesn't understand why, so the reader joins him in finding out where his beloved socks have gone. The story shows, with humour, how boring it is to wear matching socks on your feet.
Story from Loqueleo's yellow series, aimed at readers aged 6 to 7. Includes illustrations by Eva Sans Ribera.
Recommended for boys and girls who are starting to read on their own and enjoy fun, simple stories.
