«Los árboles dormidos» is the poetry collection by Alejandro López Andrada, published in 2002 by Algaida Editores in hardback (72 pages, in Spanish).
The collection is characterized by a transparent and profound expression, with a very personal nostalgia arising from childhood memory. Nature is presented as a full environment in which man recovers his bond with the world, and that gaze at the landscape becomes one of Alejandro López Andrada's most recognizable contributions to Spanish poetry.
The work belongs to the Algaida Literaria collection and won the XX Premio de Poesía Ciudad de Badajoz.
For readers aged 14 and up, particularly those who appreciate contemporary poetry and landscape as a lyrical motif.
