«Los abuelos» is the children's book by Maria Rius and José María Parramón, published by Círculo de Lectores in paperback (32 pages, in Spanish).
The book presents grandparents as close figures in children's lives: it shows how they spend time with their grandchildren, care for them, and share experiences. With color illustrations, it invites little ones to recognize and value that affectionate relationship.
In the records it appears as a children's and young adult work, with a publication date of 1999.
For young children and early readers, it serves to share the bond with grandparents as a family.

Maria Rius was a Catalan prisoner support activist and anarchist militant. She organised numerous prison escapes during the time of the dictatorship of Primo de Rivera. After the proclamation of the Second Spanish Republic, she stormed a women's prison in Barcelona and agitated for amnesty for political prisoners. She fought on the Aragon front during the Spanish Civil War, before fleeing into exile in France.
