«Londres es de cartón» is the fantasy novel by Unai Elorriaga, published by Alfaguara in paperback (216 pages, in Spanish).
Phineas waits for his sister Sora, missing for twenty years, and watches the village entrances from a rooftop with some friends. The forensic recordings, «las cinco grabaciones de Londres», may hide the truth about the era of the Book of Barda. The novel is an allegory about dictatorships, censorship, betrayal and freedom.
The work belongs to Alfaguara's Hispánica collection and was published in January 2010. The original Basque title is «Londres kartoizkoa da».
For a general audience fond of contemporary fiction, fantasy and suspense, with a political allegory about censorship.
