«L'Om» is the illustrated album by Fátima de la Jara and Gerardo Domínguez Amorín, published by Edicions Baula in paperback (24 pages, in Catalan).
The story is set in a rural landscape as a storm approaches: two tiny travellers, one with an umbrella and the other with a hat and suitcase, advance along a path while enormous trees with faces watch them from the hills and a village of white houses appears in the background.
The work belongs to the «Arbres Vius» collection from Edicions Baula, along with «La palmera», «El drago», «L'olivera», «El castanyer» and «Llimoners i tarongers».
Aimed at children, it can also be used in the classroom as general educational reading.
