«Locas mujeres» is Gabriela Mistral's poetry collection, published by LOM Ediciones in paperback (73 pages, in Spanish).
The book brings together poems from Lagar I and Lagar II, two works by Gabriela Mistral, and offers an intense portrait of her struggle for the word. Sober, almost sculpted verses of personal depth that move away from the stereotype of the «great national mother»: an honest, raw poetic voice of surprising relevance.
This edition was published in 2003.
For readers of Latin American poetry and for those who want to discover the most intimate side of Gabriela Mistral.
