«Llegendes urbanes i narracions suburbials» is the collection of short stories by Bienve Moya Doménech and Miquel Calatayud Cerdán, published by Editorial Marfil in paperback (127 pages, in Catalan).
The collection brings together urban legends and tales of suburban life, halfway between the short story and popular narrative. Its stories, set in large cities, revolve around cemeteries, prodigious events and that everyday fear awakened both by what happens outside the home and by what is hidden within it.
It is part of the Narrativa Secundaria series, volume 2, within the collection «Autors d'Ara». Published in 2002 in Valencia; the original edition appeared in 1999.
For readers interested in short fiction in Catalan and in traditions of urban horror or mystery with a contemporary setting.
