«Libro de imágenes» is Ian Beck's children's picture book, published by Editorial Juventud in hardback (40 pages, in Spanish).
A picture book for pre-readers: everyday scenes with recognizable objects —a duck, the moon, a teddy bear, a boat— appear in classic-style watercolor illustrations, inviting the youngest to look, point, and name what they see while discovering a serene visual universe full of magic.
First published in 1995, it is part of the Mis primeros libros de imágenes más pequeños collection and is recommended for children aged 1 and up.
Designed for pre-readers from one year old, it works as a first picture book to share with family and stimulate visual recognition and first words.
Ian Archibald Beck is an English children's illustrator and author.
