«Les vacances de Basil» is the children's book from the «Je suis en CM» series by Magdalena, published by Flammarion in paperback (96 pages, in French).
Basil is on holiday in Brittany and writes to his friend Marie to tell her how he's getting on: he sleeps in the same room as Bob, who snores, and has taken photos with Laura's phone. Between humour and a touch of jealousy, the story shows the friendship of the two children.
Second instalment of the «Je suis en CM» series, with illustrations by Mini Ludvin. Published on 17 October 2018.
Suitable for children aged 9 to 12 who are starting to read their first novels.
Magdalena is the original version of the given name Magdalene and is used in West Slavic, Hungarian, German, Lithuanian, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Spanish, Georgian, and other languages.
