«Les Hébreux: Peuple de la Bible» is a historical guide by André Lagaillardie, published by AEDIS in 2004 in paperback, in French.
The work explores the origin of the term «Hebrew» and its relation to biblical tradition. It gathers historical references such as the Merenptah stele and the names Habirou and Hapirou mentioned in Egyptian texts, and compares them with Abraham, presented in the Bible as a descendant of Shem and the first Hebrew.
The work belongs to the Petit Guide collection from AEDIS and is illustrated by Olivier Fréchet and Pierre Quentin.
It can serve as supporting school material in secondary education and as a brief reference guide on biblical history.
