«Les coses de la LOTA: Defensem els animals!» is the illustrated children's book by Alice Pantermüller, published by Editorial Brúixola in hardback (168 pages, in Catalan).
Lota celebrates that her class has won a competition and they have to paint a fence with drawings of endangered animals. With Xesca, they take the task very seriously because they don't want either the giant pandas or the Tasmanian devils to disappear. Lota decides to draw Pedra, her tortoise, and they go to the zoo to look for inspiration. Everyday adventures told like a diary, with humour and lots of drawings.
It is the fifth instalment of the «Les coses de la Lota» series, created by Alice Pantermüller and illustrated by Daniela Kohl; this Catalan edition includes the translation by Marga G. Borràs.
For readers aged 10 and up who enjoy fun school stories, full of humour and animals.
