«Les aventures de Léon au cirque» is the illustrated children's novel by Alex T. Smith, published by Editions Milan in hardback (93 pages, in French).
Léon, a dog with a red beret and jumper, takes advantage of his owners' absence to go for a walk in the park that ends at a circus. There, among acrobats, clowns and trapeze artists, the little dog ends up making a place for himself in the ring: he dares to walk the tightrope, causes a few mishaps and turns the show into a wild, humorous adventure.
The work belongs to the Les aventures de Léon series. The French translation is by Amélie Sarn.
Recommended for early readers aged 6 to 9 who are moving from picture books to chapter books.
