«L'enfant Bouddha» is the story by Jacques Salomé, illustrated by Cosey, published by Albin Michel in hardback (105 pages, in French).
The story narrates the childhood of the future Buddha, son of a powerful king, confined in a palace at the foot of the Himalayas so as not to know the suffering of the world. From that silent childhood, full of questions and fears, emerges a personality oriented toward personal fulfilment. The work invites reflection on the possibilities of childhood.
The original edition was published on 28 October 1993; the catalogue classifies it under philosophy.
For readers interested in childhood, spirituality and the figure of the Buddha.
