«Elmer ha tornat!» is the children's story by David McKee, translated by Irene Pons Juliá, published by Beascoa in hardback (32 pages, in Catalan).
Two days to go until Elmer's Day, when all the elephants paint themselves in colours and Elmer paints himself elephant-coloured. Bored of always repeating the same grey, Elmer comes up with a brilliant idea to liven up the herd and celebrate differences, with values such as friendship, respect and solidarity.
It belongs to the Elmer series, the colourful elephant; the original, Elmer Again, was published in 1991 and this Catalan edition in 2011.
Recommended for children aged 4 and up, for first readings and for sharing as a family.
David John McKee, was a British writer and illustrator, chiefly of children's books and animations.
