«Leggende meranesi» is a collection of legends by Paolo Bill Valente, published by Alphabeta in paperback (159 pages, in Italian).
The work gathers the legends of the Merano basin passed down by word of mouth and then written, rewritten by Paolo Bill Valente without altering their plot. They are border stories: vanished cities, peoples that clash and merge, and boundaries between good and evil, light and darkness, life and death, with a message beyond science and technology.
The edition dates from 2014 and falls within folklore and the study of myth, in the History category.
For readers interested in oral tradition and border narratives between cultures.
