«Le rêve du taureau rouge» is the second historical novel in Manda Scott's Boudica series, published by Le Grand livre du mois in hardback, in French.
The plot continues with Boudica, the warrior queen of the Iceni, and her brother Bán, now an officer in the Roman cavalry, on opposing sides during the occupation of Britain. The novel blends druids, dreams and divided loyalties in a war of attrition, and shows the cost of fulfilling one's destiny.
Second volume of the «Boudica» series; in the French edition, the series is titled «La reine celte». The original title is «Dreaming the Bull» (2003); this edition is from 2004.
Suitable for readers of historical fiction and fiction set in Roman Britain.
