«Le nuove vie della seta» is the historical essay by Peter Frankopan, published by Mondadori in hardback (245 pages, in Italian).
Peter Frankopan argues that the world's economic and political center of gravity has shifted toward the East. Faced with a weakened West, Beijing, Moscow, or Tehran concentrate key decisions; their countries promote cooperation and integration in new global networks, relying on natural resources and digital technology.
Published on 5 February 2019 in the Orizzonti collection by Mondadori, the book combines history, geopolitics, and social foresight.
A work for readers interested in geopolitics, global history, and the future of international relations.
