«Le Jeu d’Hiroki» is the young adult science fiction novel by Eric Senabre, published by Didier Jeunesse in paperback (224 pages, in French).
Hiroki has just moved with his father to the outskirts of Tokyo and finds an old console among the boxes. When he switches it on with his friend Emiko, a virtual character appears on the screen and asks for help. Their investigation leads them to discover that a player got trapped in the game a decade ago, perhaps because of a nuclear incident.
Novel aimed at children and young readers aged 8 to 12, interested in adventures set in Japan and stories that mix video games with ghosts.
