«Le Guide des vacances en BD» is the humour comic by Jacky Goupil and Thierry Clech, published by Vent d'ouest in comic format (46 pages, in French).
A parody of travel guides in humorous comic strips. With humour and self-criticism, it reviews the typical doubts before a holiday: who to travel with, which destination to choose, what budget to calculate, what to pack, when to leave or how to travel cheaply. An enjoyable read that turns summer mishaps into something recognisable.
The title belongs to the Les Guides en BD collection (volume 23) and was published on 14 May 2003; the series had already sold over three million copies.
A humorous work suitable for all audiences, intended as light reading for those who identify with the mishaps of planning a holiday.
