«Le Grand Mort - Tome 1: Larmes d'abeille» is the fantasy comic by Régis Loisel and Vincent Mallié, published by Vents d'Ouest in hardback (60 pages, in French).
Pauline planned a quiet week of study, but her car runs out of petrol in the middle of the night, next to the house of Erwan, a mysterious loner in French Brittany. After accepting his hospitality, she witnesses him consulting an old grimoire about the «little people»; she laughs at those stories, unaware that this encounter will drag her into another universe where her life and principles will be turned upside down.
First volume of the series «Le Grand Mort». Hardback edition of 60 pages, originally published in 2006; cover credits include Jean-Blaise Djian (script) and François Lapierre (colour).
