«Le Déjeuner des loups» is the illustrated children's picture book by Geoffroy de Pennart, published by L'Ecole des Loisirs in paperback (39 pages, in French).
The wolf Lucas captures Maurice, a little pig, in the forest and calls his family to announce a Sunday feast. But Maurice is no ordinary pig: he cooks wonderfully, plays the piano, and tells marvellous tales. A friendship grows between Lucas and Maurice that clashes with the plans of the father, who expects a good roast pork feast.
The work belongs to Geoffroy de Pennart's wolf series and to the Les Lutins collection from L'Ecole des Loisirs.
For children aged 3 to 8, designed for first readings and for enjoying aloud before bedtime.
