«Le Chat orange» is a children's story by Alan Mets, published by l'école des loisirs in French.
The story revolves around an orange cat that becomes the centre of an everyday scene: on the cover it is shown sitting at a yellow table, with a plate of cheese and a fork, against a blue background. Alan Mets's cartoonish style brings the narrative closer to the little ones with visual humour.
A French-language work, published in Paris by l'école des loisirs and included in the children's and young adult catalogue.
Suitable for young readers: an illustrated story featuring a cat, with cartoonish line drawings and bright colours.
