The title is also the starting point of the piece: a play on words that places happiness inside the exterior and outside the interior, or perhaps the other way round. From that paradox, the play reflects on the boundaries between the self and what surrounds it, and on how the intimate and the visible contain each other.

Paperback edition of 44 pages, published by Le jardin d'essai in 2012 (ISBN 9782911822711).

For readers of contemporary French theatre interested in short pieces that play with language and the boundaries between inside and outside.
