Le best-of

Synopsis of Le best-of

«Le best-of» is Guy Montagné's humour compilation, published by Pocket in 2004, in paperback (210 pages, in French).

The author selects and tells his funniest and most surprising stories: anecdotes, quips and portraits with a humour that is sometimes racy, almost always believable and celebratory. Montagné emerges as a born storyteller, heir to the French comic tradition, from Molière to popular culture, and his monologues and gestures have become benchmarks of the country's humour.

For readers interested in French humour and show business, and in the anecdotes and oral storytelling of an artist with a long career.
