«Las personas del verbo» is the poetry collection by Jaime Gil de Biedma, published by Debolsillo in paperback (208 pages, in Spanish).
In 1975, Jaime Gil de Biedma brought together under this title his definitive poetic work, revised and ordered by him: «Compañeros de viaje», «Moralidades» and «Poemas póstumos». This commemorative edition recovers that corpus and underlines the relevance of an essential work of 20th-century Spanish poetry.
Published in 2017, it is part of Debolsillo's Contemporánea collection and commemorates the 25th anniversary of the death of Jaime Gil de Biedma (1990).
For readers of contemporary Spanish poetry and for those who wish to approach the Generation of '50 through one of its central voices.
Jaime Gil de Biedma y Alba was a Spanish post-Civil War poet.
