«Las cosmicómicas» is a collection of science fiction stories by Italo Calvino, published by Minotauro Ediciones in hardback (188 pages, in Spanish).
The common thread of these stories is Qfwfq, a voice that has existed since the origin of the universe and that weaves tales from galaxies, dinosaurs, solar systems, and geological eras. Calvino combines science, imagination, and humor to turn these phenomena into reflections on time and the human condition.
The Italian original, «Le cosmicomiche», appeared in 1965; this edition by Minotauro Ediciones was published in 1985 and contains the stories in Spanish.
Recommended for readers of literary science fiction and short story collections, and also as a gateway to Italo Calvino's narrative.
