«Las Casas» is the illustrated history book by Piero Ventura, published by Editorial Everest in hardback (64 pages, in Spanish).
It traces the history of housing from wicker huts and adobe houses to modern apartments, including Roman villas and medieval towers. Each culture has provided a different solution to the need for shelter, and these solutions reveal its technical capacity, its organization, its tastes, and its way of life.
It belongs to the collection «Historia ilustrada de la humanidad». The full title includes the subtitle «Modos, formas y usos de la vivienda en el tiempo».
Recommended for young readers from 12 years old with curiosity about history, architecture, and ways of life in other eras.
