«L'arbre de Nadal» is the children's story by Josep-Francesc Delgado, illustrated by Carles Arbat, published by Baula in paperback (64 pages, in Catalan).
Elisabet, called Bet, wants a well-decorated Christmas tree, with a star on top and colourful baubles. Her parents cannot imagine she will grow fond of one very different from what they have in mind: for her, love comes from within, and a tree is a living being that should be loved always, not just at Christmas. The story also speaks of the family that takes it in.
Published in 2006, it is part of the Ala Delta Sèrie Roja collection (no. 23). Josep-Francesc Delgado is also the author of Papitis and Mamitis.
For young readers aged 5 and up and for sharing with family during Christmas.
