«Lapoigne et la fiole mystérieuse» is the young-adult crime novel by Thierry Jonquet, published by Nathan in paperback (166 pages, in French).
Mother Muzard wins a Zodiac dinghy on a TV quiz show, but the trip along the Saint-Martin canal with her friend, the vagrant Claude Lapoigne, takes a wrong turn. What was meant to be an innocent outing becomes an adventure in which the two friends get caught up in a mystery.
This 1996 reissue brings back a volume first published in 1993 in the Arc-en-poche collection. The character Claude Lapoigne comes from 'L'ogre du métro'.
For young readers, especially those who enjoy crime stories with an urban setting and quirky characters.
