On her twenty-seventh birthday, Cristina, a New York lawyer of Catalan origin, receives two rings: an engagement ring from a stockbroker and an ancient ruby ring sent by an anonymous sender. Investigating its origin, she travels to Barcelona and along the Mediterranean coast, where the plot connects with the fall of the Templars and the fate of the last Templar.
Published in 2004 in the Clàssica collection of Columna CAT, it was nominated for the Alfonso X El Sabio Historical Novel Prize.
A work for readers of historical fiction and thrillers that combines Templar mystery with a contemporary investigation.
