L'amour fort comme la mort

Synopsis of L'amour fort comme la mort

«L'amour fort comme la mort» is the autobiography of André Chouraqui, published by Pocket in paperback and in French.

André Chouraqui starts from his own death: the image of his tomb, his bones and ashes in the graves of a hill in Judea, on 11 August 1917, to construct an autobiographical narrative in which love, memory and death intertwine with the history of his ancestral land.
