«L'Affaire Tournesol» is Hergé's adventure comic, published by Casterman in hardback (62 pages, in French).
In Moulinsart, glass begins to break without apparent cause. Tintin and Captain Haddock link it to Professor Calculus's experiments; when the scientist is kidnapped by foreign agents, they launch a chase across Europe to rescue him and prevent his ultrasound machine from being used as a weapon.
This album is number 18 in the series The Adventures of Tintin; Hergé originally published it in 1956, and Casterman reissued this French edition in 2007.
Suitable for young adult and adult readers, and useful as French reading material for language students.

Georges Prosper Remi, known by the pen name Hergé, from the French pronunciation of his reversed initials RG, was a Belgian comic strip artist. He is best known for creating The Adventures of Tintin, the series of comic albums that are considered one of the most popular European comics of the 20th century. He was also responsible for two other well-known series, Quick & Flupke (1930–1940) and The Adventures of Jo, Zette and Jocko (1936–1957). His works were executed in his distinctive ligne claire drawing style.
