En un tranquilo pueblo de provincias, la vida se ve sacudida por un horrendo crimen. Feliciano Moran, un diputado conservador del parlamento catalán, es encontrado estrangulado en el último asiento de un autobús. Dado que el vehículo circulaba por la autopista sin realizar paradas, todos los pasajeros se convierten en sospechosos.
