«La vie des chevaliers» is Brigitte Coppin's children's history book, published by Fleurus in paperback (80 pages, in French).
It explains the different stages of a knight's training and covers tournaments, sieges, crusades and daily life in the castle. The book portrays these warriors with nuance: tough in combat, but also authors of the first love poems in Western literature.
It belongs to the Voir l'Histoire collection and includes a DVD with the documentary «La bataille d'Azincourt : un vendredi en enfer», about the 1415 battle. Published in September 2007.
Aimed at child readers aged 6 to 8, especially those interested in the Middle Ages and castles.
