La vida secreta de Rebecca Paradise

Synopsis of La vida secreta de Rebecca Paradise

«La vida secreta de Rebecca Paradise» is the children's novel by Pedro Mañas Romero, published by Ediciones SM in paperback (256 pages, in Spanish).

Úrsula, eleven years old, alternates identities: sometimes she is Rebecca, a secret spy, and blames a magician for her mother's disappearance. Between worms in a box, a cat in space and a collection of lies, the novel plays with double personalities, half-truths and the question of whether anyone always tells the whole truth.

It belongs to the El Barco de Vapor Roja collection, number 217, and received the El Barco de Vapor Award in 2015.

Recommended for readers aged 10 to 12, especially for those who enjoy stories of humour, double identities and games of truth and lies.
