Alice and Mattia carry traumatic episodes from childhood that shape the way they relate to others. The novel addresses loneliness, pain and the search for connection.
This edition is the second and belongs to the Oscar grandi bestsellers collection; it was published in 2010.
For readers of contemporary fiction looking for intimate novels about loneliness and the wounds left by childhood.
Paolo Giordano is an Italian writer who won the Premio Strega literary award with his first novel The Solitude of Prime Numbers.
