«La soca de Nadal» is the illustrated children's story by Teresa Sabaté Rodié and Rita Culla Perarnau, published by Salvatella in hardback (40 pages).
The book focuses on the Catalan tradition of the soca de Nadal, the Christmas log. The cover shows two children pushing a large log with a face in a snowy porch, with holly and birds, and hints at the festive, wintry atmosphere of pages full of colour illustrations.
It is number 12 in Salvatella's Folklore collection, in its second edition (2002), with text in Catalan and Spanish.
Aimed at children, designed to be shared with the family during the Christmas season.
