«La segunda dama» is the novel by Irving Wallace, published by Ediciones Grijalbo in hardback (415 pages, in Spanish).
The story begins with the discovery of two women with an astonishing resemblance: one is the wife of the President of the United States and the other, a professional actress. That similarity becomes the axis of a political intrigue in which sex is used as a weapon of pressure and blackmail.
Originally published as «The second lady», this Spanish edition includes the translation by María Antonia Menini. It belongs to the BestSellers collection from Grijalbo.
Irving Wallace was an American best-selling author and screenwriter. He was known for his heavily researched novels, many with a sexual theme.
