«La remor de les onades» is the love novel by Yukio Mishima, published by Ara Mini in paperback (192 pages, in Catalan).
On Utajima, a small Japanese fishing island cut off from civilization, Shinji, an 18-year-old fisherman of humble origin, falls in love with Hatsue, the daughter of the wealthy Teru, who has just returned to the village. In that traditional community, their love seems impossible, and the sound of the waves accompanies the whole story.
The work was originally published in 1954 under the title «Shiosai» and won the Shincho Prize. The Catalan translation is by Joaquim Pijoan Arbocer and Ko Tazawa.
