«La profecía» is the historical essay by Ana Martínez Arancón, published by Editora Nacional in paperback in 1975 (376 pages, in Spanish).
The work explores the prophetic interpretations that emerged between Arnaldo de Vilanova and Lucas Fernández de Ayala, two references of visionary thought. It analyses the historical context of those readings and places them within the tradition of heterodox and marginalised authors that gives the collection its name.
First edition published in Madrid; fourth volume of the Biblioteca de Visionarios, Heterodoxos y Marginados collection.
For readers interested in medieval history, religiosity and heterodox thought.
